Sabra Sport Prototype - Exclusive Photos

The Sabra Sport prototype was built in 1961 by a team headed by Colin Fine-Thompson.  It used a Ashley 1172 body shell and a Lesley Bellamy chassis. It used a 1,703cc engine from a Ford Consul (essentially because  it fitted under the bonnet) that was mated to a German ZF four speed synchromesh gearbox.  These exclusive photos belonged to Colin Fine-Thompson and were kindly donated by his sister, Pat Afford.
